Ritu Arya – Founder, RITAURA

Our Story

RITAURA is a story that began long before the brand itself.

For many years, Ritu Arya, the founder of RITAURA, built a successful career in the corporate world. But when the time came, she chose to step away and take a long sabbatical to focus on what mattered most - raising her children and being present for the little moments that shape a family.

During those years, her love for Indian textiles, fabrics and timeless silhouettes quietly grew stronger. What began as a personal appreciation slowly turned into a dream - to create something meaningful that celebrated the beauty of Indian craftsmanship.

Years later, that dream began to take shape with the support of her daughter, who encouraged her to bring that vision to life. Together, they built RITAURA with patience, care, and a shared belief that clothing can carry stories - of heritage, family and the women who wear it.

RITAURA is more than just a label. It is the coming together of a mother’s passion and a daughter’s support - a journey rooted in love, tradition and the desire to create something lasting.

Every piece reflects that spirit: thoughtful, graceful and made with heart.

Our Fabrics

Fabrics are at the heart of everything we create. We carefully select textiles known for their beauty, texture, and cultural significance. From soft cottons and breathable linens to luxurious Banarasi silks and delicate Chikankari embroidery, every fabric is chosen for how it drapes, feels and ages over time. Each piece is designed to honour the richness of Indian craftsmanship while remaining comfortable and versatile.

Designed for the Modern Woman

RITAURA is created for women who value elegance, quality and understated luxury. Our collections are designed to move effortlessly between everyday wear and special occasions - offering refined silhouettes that feel comfortable, graceful and timeless.

Our Promise

Every RITAURA piece is created with care, intention and respect for the craft behind it.

Our aim is simple: to create clothing that feels beautiful to wear, honours the artistry of Indian textiles and becomes a cherished part of your wardrobe for years to come.
